Who doesn’t like free things? I love finding free patterns. While surfing the internet for some new ideas, I found this website Pellon Projects . You need to check it out, they have multiple patterns that you can download for free. The pattern that I chose was the Off to the Market Bag.
The fabric is from stash. The front piece of my purse was embroidered. The size of the purse was scaled down and I used a foam stabilizer. The foam stabilizer is great for providing shape to the purse. When sewing with the stabilizer, it will get bulky so it challenging to keep the fabric and the stabilizer under the needle.
I hope you enjoy this next week with the upcoming holiday. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays to spend with my family and friends. It is a wonderful reminder of how much we have to be thankful.
