Just read the book, “Craft a Life you Love”. The book is about intentionally creating a life you love with your hobbies. The author Amy Tangerine loves to Scrap Book. She describes why this hobby brings her joy. This book is perfect for anyone interested in spending more time on their hobby. However, they may struggle to find the time or motivation.
She has made several statements that I felt were worth mentioning especially for us ladies. The book is full of inspiring quotes and ideas.
- Stop trying to be somebody else. Do not aspire to be as good as someone else. Instead, try to be better than you were.
- Stop comparing yourself to others, embrace your hobbies and live your life to its fullest!
- Accepting yourself and forgive yourself in your failures.
- Stop berating yourself but allow yourself to learn a lesson and give yourself grace just as you with a friend.
- Your thoughts will direct your behavior.
- Set a craft ritual before you even touch your social media feed.
The author mentions about palm reading which I do not agree with, but your thoughts do determine your direction. I fully believe that making small changes can make a powerful change.
