Happy Saturday,
Hope you have a wonderful week. Today we are going to vote. Hope you take the time to vote. This is a privilege that we have as an American citizen to choose our next leader. So many people have lost their lives so that we had this pleasure. I so believe in the power of one vote so don’t let this opportunity slip by.
The pattern was a Simplicity S9318 and the fabric from JoAnns. This corduroy jumper was a design than I had in mind to do with adding Winnie the Pooh. Who doesn’t like Winnie the Pooh? The simplicity jumper was not meant for this heavier fabric. It was bulky around the arms but did under stitching and trimming to help reduce the bulk.

The embroidery design was from Etsy. I did embroider it on the jumper before putting it together. Next time, I will bring the design a probably at least two more inches to the right.

The buttonholes always make me nervous. I have done many button holes over the years. Through trial and error, I learned to do a practice run. I always have a moment of pure relief when the button holes line up in the correct spot. Does anyone else deal with buttonhole anxiety.
This actually just came together in just a couple of hours. I hope that our granddaughter will manage to get some use. We are in Florida, so corduroy is not something that you need wear often in Florida.

Let me know if you have button hole anxiety and if you have any tips. I can’t be the only for sure.
Happy Sewing,
Valerie
