At the close of 2019

Happy Saturday-

I would have to admit this year did not go the way I planned. Unforeseen events, due to an unplanned job change and college students moving back home made some significant changes. This is what makes life exciting and challenging.

As for 2020, I am excited because it is a brand-new year. There is no mistakes so far and it is a clean slate. I am looking forward to new adventures in my sewing. Even though my 2019 goals were not met. I am going to continue to pursue my dreams. I hope you are also taking some time to pursue your goals for 2020.

Personally, I will be making a list of projects that I want to sew and classes that I want to take to keep my love for sewing alive.

I need to remember not to be a perfectionist. I was out shopping during the holiday season and was surprised looking thru the clothes on the quality of the sewing. Plaids were not matched up, buttons not lined up or coming off. It reminded me to let go of some of my perfection on the garments I construct.

My pictures show some of my sewing projects from last year. Wishing you the best in your sewing adventures for 2020.
