Happy Saturday!

I love the Christmas Holidays.    It is so much fun to decorate my house and enjoy spending time with family and friends.  There are endless ways to decorate your home with your sewing skills.  I hope you enjoy this pattern.

Tree Skirt Pattern:

Items  needed

10 Degree Ruler

-1 1/2 yards of 4 Different Christmas Fabrics

-Batting

Fabric for binding

Fabric backing ( I used extra wide fabric to avoid seams)

Instructions:

Cut out 9 pieces of each Christmas fabric, using the 10 degree ruler.  Alternate the fabrics and stitch the strips together at a 1/4 inch seam.   Press out the seams.

Cut out your batting and your back fabric using the tree skirt as your pattern.   Be careful not to cut your tree skirt.   Once completed, place the backing fabric facing down, then the batting and then place your skirt facing up.  Quilt your tree skirt.  I just quilted along the seams but the options are endless on quilting the skirt.  Once it is quilted,  put on your binding.

I hope you are enjoying the Christmas Holidays!
