Yes, you read the title correctly, the pattern is from 2006. I was given several magazines to look thru for project ideas. I was not sure, if I would find anything that would catch my attention since the magazines were older. One of the first things that I found was this pattern. I love pillows and this is a good way to use up some of my scraps.
It was an easy afternoon project which turned out so cute. I always use a 1/4 inch foot when I do my quilting projects. It helps keeps my stitches straight and even.
Remember, you can get sewing inspiration from anywhere. The colors and patterns may change but the magazines can hold a wealth of information. So pull out those magazines from storage and see what you can find!
